Facial blemishes are the dark patches or marks on the face due to pimples, boils, blackheads, whiteheads or other such conditions that tend to clog the skin pores.

Blemishes are the common skin ailment but can be easily cured at home with the help of natural home remedies for blemishes.

1.     Lemon juice:
Lemon juice is an excellent remedy for facial blemishes removal. However it is recommended to mix rosewater, honey or turmeric powder with it to tone town its acidic properties as it could be too harsh on the skin.

2.     Potato juice:

Potato juice works great in discoloring skin blemishes and spots. Apply potato juice on your face or rub thin shredded slices of potato on blemish prone skin.

3.     Honey:

Antibacterial properties of honey make it a great ingredient in remedies for acne prone skin as it decimates all the microbes on the skin along with preventing skin pigmentation. Apply fresh honey on your face to get rid of blemishes.

4.     Tea Tree oil:

Tea tree oil is a very common ingredient in blemish/acne clearing cosmetics. It is a natural antimicrobial agent that combats blemishes and prevents the skin from forming new ones. It is advised to dilute it with water or mix it with other ingredients as direct application could leave a burning sensation on your skin.

How to apply eyeliner:

Step1: Rest the elbow of your dominant arm on a hard surface and your wrist on your face.

Step 2: Slightly tilt your head back and keep your eyes half open:
This creates a good angle for application at the same time allowing you to see what you are doing.

Step 3: With your left index finger (in case you are right handed) or right index finger (in case you are left handed) gently pull your eyelid to the side and slightly up, toward the end of your eyebrow.
This step is optional as stretching the eye may encourage wrinkling that’s the reason some people prefer to line relaxed eye.

Step 4: Draw a line across your upper lid (as close to the lash line as possible).
Note:  In case you are using liquid liner allow it to dry before opening your eyes (else the color may transfer into the crease of your eye).

Step 5: Gently smudge the line with your brush, a cotton swab or your finger (to soften the look).

Step 6: Line the lower lid:
Moving from the outside edge inward draw a line (close to the lower lash) slightly thicker at outside corner and becoming thinner as it moves in toward your nose.

Milk powder (1 tablespoon)
Hydrogen peroxide (1/2 tablespoon)

Method:
Mix milk powder and hydrogen peroxide to make a thick paste and your homemade bleach is ready to use. This is the least harmful kind of bleach as the milk powder in the mixture moisturizes your skin while bleaching, preventing skin burns and other reactions.
